Graham Makel
Graham played with the inaugural TR Baseball team. He graduated from Parish Episcopal High School in 2016 having played baseball for 4 years, 3 years on the varsity roster. He was selected Captain his senior year and was awarded the Gold Glove Award as the outstanding outfielder. He continued his baseball career at Washington and Jefferson College where his team made a run to the D3 World Series Final. Over the summers he competed in the Metro Scout Collegiate Leagues and played on the Championship team in 2017. Graham trained under Bump Wills in base running and stealing and also worked with Texas Rangers former batting coach, Rudy Jaramillo, who featured him in an instructional batting video series. In addition to baseball, Graham played Elite youth hockey including in the 12U National Championship competition. Graham was a proud long-time camper and eventually Senior Counselor at Camp Longhorn in Burnett, TX. Now in his third year of coaching with TR Baseball, he has helped develop the outfielders’ skills in footwork, positioning, and hitting.
